Over all Description:
Blaise Zabini is a seventh year student at Hogwarts. Her hair is deep red, shades lighter than the colour of blood, and falls to just below her shoulders. It has a slight wave, but would not be considered curly. Her skin is very pale, and her green eyes stand out in her face, a very bright colour. People often wonder where she gets her colouring and her looks from, for she doesn’t more than slightly resemble either of her parents.

Blaise has a slender build, and she keeps very fit. Unlike most girls she knows who are thin, her thinness is also composed of muscle, not just skin and bones. She keeps herself in very good physical shape- necessary to be on the quidditch team. She is also on the taller side of most girls whom she has met at 5’ 7". She has a very noticeable presence- when she walks into a room, people tend to turn to look at her.

Blaise generally wears black Slytherin robes while at school, and her favourite colours of robes for free time are bright (matching her eyes) to dark forest greens and black. For formal occasions she has red dress robes that show off her hair and eyes, however, as her family is rich, she can have whatever colour she wishes at the time. All of her robes are of the finest quality and materials.

Personality:
Blaise Zabini has two distinct personalities- one which she uses most of the time around school and one which she only uses around her closest friends and those she loves.

The personality Blaise takes on during school is somewhat haughty. She walks around like she owns everything, and when she enters a room, others know it. She makes this presence known. She is generally not very nice to many people in houses other than Slytherin, but she will not go out of her way to pick fights with people. She seems to be popular with boys, because she has the reputation of being easy, but contrary to what most people think, she has never had a serious relationship, and the furthest she has gone is kissing. She is very sarcastic and insulting much of the time.

Blaise’s more hidden personality, she takes great care to hide, for she considers it a weakness. She only acts that way among people she loves and trusts. In this, she is actually quite sweet and has morals as to how things such as love and friendship should be. She tends to keep most of these feelings inside her, as taught by her mother. Her mother was picked on in school, so she has taught Blaise how to have a hard shelled exterior personality.

While Blaise might seem confident to others, she has issues with herself that she doesn't let show. She is always jealous of Pansy, for although Pansy may not be the prettiest, she always knows how to act the right way around other people, especially boys in Blaise's opinion. She spends way to much time on her appearance, not stopping until she looks just the way she wants to. She wishes she could be prettier and have all of the things her friend has, but doesn't know quite how to bring that idea to action.

Blaise’s family is allied with the Dark Lord, so she has been taught much dark magic and the unforgivable curses. She is forbidden by her parents to use them at school, but she has no wish to anyway. Her family is pushing her into a fate that she does not want. She does belong in Slytherin, but she has no desire to join the forces of the Dark Lord at this point in time. She is a member of the Serpent Loyalist, however.

During classes, Blaise tends to be quiet and not speak much. She is not the best student, though in the classes she likes she does try in. Teachers neither like or dislike her for in classes she puts up a neutral front. The only exception is potions, her favourite class, and also, as Professor Snape is head of Slytherin, is one of the more favoured students in his advanced potions class.

History:
Blaise is the youngest child of Sebastian and Nym Zabini. The three of them and her older brother Samuel all lived together in the family Manor, until Samuel finished school and joined a research team of American witches and wizards, so currently he is living in the United States. Blaise misses her brother very much, for the longest time he was her sole companion and the one she told her secrets to.The Zabini family is heavily allied with the Dark Lord, and the parents had every wish to raise their children to become supporters. While Samuel had decided to not become a death eater, but still support the methods of Voldemort, Mr. and Mrs. Zabini have every wish for Blaise to either marry a Death Eater or become one herself. It almost broke Blaise's heart when Samuel was almost disowned by her parents when he decided to go to America instead of becoming a Death Eater and taking over the family business.

Blaise was taught at home up until her first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Her parents were either never home, or when they were, they would not pay her any attention, so her and Samuel were raised and taught basic skills by an au pair. She knows what her parents wish for her, but has very little respect for them, although she does love them, because they were never there for her.

When Blaise was around 5 or 6 years old, her mother and Nym's friends with children formed a play group that would meet once a week so the women could gossip free of their children. This is where she first met Pansy and Draco, and several other Slytherins in her year, as their mothers were friends with hers. When the children got older and could be left on their own or have someone else watching them, the group was disbanded, and it was the last she saw of her friends until the start of school.

Blaise started Hogwarts the same year as Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy, and is currently a Seventh year. In around third year, Blaise developed a large crush on someone very popular. No one to this day knows, for his girlfriend is her best friend. This is one of the reasons that she has turned down so many male admirers. She would do anything he asked her to do, she just wishes there was a chance for her.

Blaise is also a member of the Serpent Loyalist. She does not fully agree with the cause, but likes the idea better than that proposed by other witches and wizards. An added bonus is that the object of her affections is in the group as well.
